Dedra Freeman Swaringen, 43, of Edneyville, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was born in Henderson County, a daughter of T.B. Freeman and the late Vinnie Worley Freeman and had been an area resident all of her life. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Gilbert. In addition to her father of Edneyville, she is survived by two daughters, Samantha Riddle and her husband Adam of Fletcher; Whitney Swaringen, of the home; a grandson, Ezekiel Riddle; sister Jeanne Blackwell and her family; a brother Robert Freeman and his family, as well as many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11AM, Saturday, March 29, 2008 at St. Pauls Community Cemetery. Rev. Dale Gilbert will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM, Friday at the Hospitality Room of Mud Creek Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Four Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care, 571 S.
