Kevin W. Endres, age 46, 6464 Pillmore Drive, passed away August 30, 2007, at Rome Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness.
He was born February 22, 1961, in Utica, the son of Sheldon V. and Joyce Griffiths Endres, and educated in Rome schools.
Kevin was united in marriage to the former Barbara Martin, on October 13, 1984, in St. Joseph's Church, Lee Center.
He was a Corrections Officer at Midstate Correctional Facility where he served as the Assistant Fire and Safety Officer. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Lee Center, Assistant Fire Chief of Lake Delta Fire Department and a member of the Masonic Lodge of Lee Center.
Kevin was a devoted son, brother, husband and father. His life revolved around his children and their activities. He enjoyed coaching youth sports, including soccer, hockey and baseball and later announcing the Rome Free Academy Hockey games.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; his cherished children, his daughter, Katherine "Katie" and her fiancé, Justin Cox, and sons, Bryan and Michael; his mother, Joyce Endres of Rome; and sister, Karen Endres of Rome; and many great and loyal friends. He was predeceased by his father, Sheldon.
