Minnie was the younger of two daughters born to Anna Jackson and her first husband, William Thompson. On February 10, 1900, she married William Henry Youells in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. The couple had eight children: Daisy Lena, Anna Elizabeth, William Leonard, Leslie Llwellyn, George Foster, Myrtle Eleanor, Frances Louise, and Charles Alfred.

Cause of Death: Chronic myocarditis
