MONTROSE- Funeral Services to honor and celebrate the life of 20-year-old Danielle Marie Dolan, of Montrose, who died unexpectedly on Sunday, Jan. 4, 1998 10 miles south of Cuba, NM on Highway 44, from injuries she received in an automobile accident.Services were officiated by The Rev. Lloyd McMillan on Friday, Jan. 9, at 11 a.m. from the Crippin Funeral Home Chapel in Montrose.
Vocalist and organist, Carma Grimes, performed the musical slections, "You'll Be There" and "My Father Cares For Me." "If I Could" by Barbara Streisand was played.
Honorary casketbearers were Eugene Cater, Mike Butts, David Dolan, Jerry Gonzales, Timmy Dolan and all her many close friends.
Casketbearers were Lance Franks, Jared Castle, Dusty Moon, Brian Distel, Dusty Hess, and John Barnes.
Interment followed the service in the Grand View Cemetery near Montrose, with arrangements handled under the direction of the Crippin Funeral Home of Montrose.
Danielle Marie Dolan was born on Aug 24, 1977, the daughter of Terry and Raonna Heddin. At the time of her death, Ms. Dolan was a full time student of cosmetology which she loved and enjoyed. Her plan for her life in the future was to be a platform makeup artist.
Ms Dolan is survived by her fiancé, Marc Carlton of Montrose; her father, Terry Heddin, of Texas; her mother, Raonna Heddin, of Colorado; and a half sister, Lisa Borbely, of Albuquerque, NM.
Other family survivors include her grandparents: Mary Ellen Coffee, Doris Heddin, Bill Heddin, Elmer Borbely, all of Albuquerque, NM; great grandparents: Mr and Mrs Howard Moon; Mr and Mrs Emmett Boyer, all of Montrose; four aunts; Adele and husband Bill Frangos, of Albuquerque, NM; Roanna Snell of Texas; Debi and husband Bob Oglesbee, of Albuquerque, NM; Deanna and husband Joel Ratcliff, of North Carolina, one uncle, Mauri Dolan, of Colorado; and numerous cousins.
Ms Dolan was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Earl Coffee, who died Dec. 30, 1997; paternal grandfather, Vernon Dolan and her great grandmother, Maxine Gilbert.
Ms Dolan loved the outdoors.
