Sharon Dowell Bragdon, age 63, died Saturday evening at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Jacksonville, FL to the late Vernon and Mildred Pierce Dowell and was married to Larry Bragdon. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 3:00 pm at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Shumate-Faulk funeral home. In addition to her husband Mrs. Bragdon is survived by a son, Richard Bragdon of Mt. Olive; a daughter, Shelly Baker and husband Eddie of Seven Springs; two grandchildren, Sydney and Savanna Baker; two sisters, Janet Thomas and husband Danny and Linda Ward and husband, Wes all of Jacksonville, FL; a niece, Jennifer Walker of Jacksonville, FL and her mother-in-law, Marjorie Bragdon of Dudley. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 or School Street School. Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home of Goldsboro is serving the family.
