John Melvin Wilson, 79, passed away Thursday, August 2 at Lakeshore Villas Health Care Center in Tampa. He was born in Brooksville, and was a lifelong resident.
Mr. Wilson was owner and operator of Wilson Fence Company. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a Methodist.
Survivors include his sons, Glenn Patrick Wilson of Kokomo, IN, and John Todd Wilson of Russiaville, IN; daughters, Pamela Wilson Gullion of Russiaville, IN, Patricia Ann Palardis of Tampa, FL, Teresa JoAnn Gortler of Brooksville, FL; sister, Marjorie Dell Wilson Bragdon of Mount Olive, NC; brothers, Zack T. Wilson and his wife Linda, and Roy J. Wilson and his wife Pat, both of Brooksville, FL; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
