Mrs. Geneva Lee Martin Moore, 83, wife of the late Alton John Moore, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2007 surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Moore was born October 17, 1923 in Marion, South Carolina, a daughter of the late John Oscar and Lela Ella Flowers Martin.
She was a long standing member of Aynor First Baptist Church, where she was a past member of the WMU.
Surviving are three sons, Enoch Silvis Moore and his wife, Ruby, of Matthews, N.C. and Myrtle Beach, Dale Moore of Columbia and Ricky Moore and his wife, Terri, of Fort Mill, S.C.; four daughters, Pat Moore Johnson and her husband, Jimmy Ray, of Aynor, Gayle Moore Skipper and her husband, Payne, of Galivants Ferry, Debbie Moore Dawsey and her husband, Carl, of Galivants Ferry and Tammy Moore Price and her husband, Mark, of Aynor; 12 grandchildren, Kristi Moore Wayne and her husband, Sean, Michele Moore Plyler and her husband, Ronnie, Cindy Johnson Capps, Danny Ray Johnson and his wife, Lisa, Kelli Skipper Johnson and her husband, Sam, Wally Skipper and his wife, Danielle, Josh Dawsey, AJ Moore, Sarah Moore, Zach Price, Matt Price and Zane Price; 14 great-grandchildren, Connor Wayne, Caroline Wayne, Cassidy Plyler, Brett Plyler, Mallory Capps, Keaton Capps, Bradley Moore, Walker Ray Johnson, Daly Johnson, Thomas Johnson, Phoebe Johnson, Delana Skipper, Jackson Moore and John Moore.
Mrs. Moore was predeceased by two brothers, John R. Martin and JC Martin; and three sisters, Hazel Martin Johnson, Margaret Martin Owens and Georgia Martin Roberts.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2007 at Aynor First Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Harrelson and the Rev. Tom Lovern officiating. Burial will follow in Aynor Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2007 at the funeral home.
