Miss Tempie Mae Rabon, 81, of Union Shortcut Road, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Conway Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Miss Rabon was born January 20, 1926, a daughter of the late George W. and Tula Rogers Rabon. She was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church.

Miss Rabon was predeceased by one brother, Abram Rabon; and one sister, Sallie Rabon.

Surviving are one nephew, Joe Henry Rabon and his wife, Linda, of Aynor; one niece, Geraldine Perritt and her husband, Hollis, of Galivants Ferry; a very special niece, Jane Hardwick of Aynor; two great-nieces, Kathy Jo Nash of Loris and Holly Hardee of Little River; two great-nephews, Derrick Perritt and Joey Wayne Rabon, both of Aynor; and several great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2007, at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Dock Rabon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2007, at Johnson Funeral Home.
