Preceded in death by his daughter Violet Bredna Benavidez Orosco, whom died before birth. And survived by Edna Benavidez Martinez of Austin,Texas.
He left behind three children that he raised and loved with all of his heart.
Daughters; Melissa Ann Orosco Martinez (Born May 4, 1977 in Austin,Tx.) and Nichol Denise Orosco Bernal (Born Aug. 6, 1980 in Austin,Tx.); Son, Richard Orosco Jr. (Born March 1, 1979 in Austin,Tx.). Their mother, Guadalupe Eureste Jimenez.
He will be missed greatly! Especially by me.

Survivors are daughters; Melissa Ann Orosco and Nichol Denise Orosco; son, Richard Orosco Jr.; beloved mother, Julia Rodriguez Lopez; step-fathers, Naval Cordova Quiroz (Married Julia April 15,1965 till Oct.26, 1982)born Oct. 13, 1935 and Died Nov.9, 2004 at the age of 69 yrs old. and Pedro M. (Pete) Lopez, Jr.; sisters, Rachel R. Quiroz Ruiz (Born July 20, 1965) and husband John Albert, and Regina Quiroz Martinez (born July 12, 1973) and husband, Rudy; brothers, Ruben Rodriguez and Nick Lopez; six nieces; six nephews; and grandchildren, Isaac and Briana Martinez all of Austin.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dennies "Nicho" Rodriguez (Find A Grave Memorial# 84087682) and grandmother, Cecilia Rodriguez (Find A Grave Memorial# 84087718), and uncle, Andrew "Clyde" Rodriguez.
Rosary was recited on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Mission Funeral Home; Franciscan Friars officiating.
Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers: Danny Rodriguez, B,J. Villarreal, Thomas Soto and Rick Garcia. Honorary Pallbearers: Richard Orosco Jr. and Nick Lopez.
