He was killed when his camp received indirect enemy fire during combat operations in Ramadi, Iraq. His sense of humor and charisma were invaluable to those around him. He was always looking out for others with a quick one liner or something to make them smile. His ability to lift the spirits of those around him will be sorely missed.
He was survived by his parents; two brothers and their spouses; his maternal grandmother; his paternal grandparents; his fiancee; two nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held at Crossroads Baptist Church, Falls Church, VA, on Tuesday, June 20, 2006. Funeral services were held at the Ft Myer Old Post Chapel, Arlington, VA, on Wednesday, June 21, 2006, followed by interment.
