Ivy was the 4th daughter of Lizzie Compton and her 1st husband, Samuel Slingsby.

She moved with her family to Canada and there she met Stanley Ledgard Asquith. They married on April 17, 1913 in Chilliwack, BC.

Together, they had 3 children.

Ivy is my cousin 2x removed.
