Daughter of Herman and Elizabeth Hulse.

Children:
Jessie Campbell, Macy Campbell, Don Campbell, Lee Hulse Campbell, Herman Campbell, plus babies unknown.

"LIDA HULSE CAMPBELL was born in Cayuga county, N. Y., August 11, 1848, and died at Pleasanton July 3, 1900. At the age of twelve years she moved with her parents to Van Buren county, Mich., where she grew to womanhood. She attended the Michigan Normal school and fitted herself for school work. After teaching several years in the public schools she married Elder DUNCAN CAMPBELL October 15, 1876. Soon after they moved to Iowa and located on a farm near Pleasanton. To this union ten children were born, six of them having preceded the mother to the better land. The deceased united with the L. D. S. church in the summer of 1876. She was a faithful Sabbath school worker and at the time of her death was Superintendent of the L. D. S. Sunday school. Funeral services were held at the home by E.der M. M. TURPIN assisted by Elders ANDERSON and WELD."
