"Centreville, June 18 - Henry Gilborn, an aged and respected citizen, of Sherman, NY, died at the home of his daughter, at that place, on Friday last, and was brought here for burial on Sunday. T J Patten and H Carroll, representing Centreville Lodge No 889, IOOF, of which deceased was a member, went to Sherman on Saturday to take charge of the remains and arrange for burial. They were accompanied here on Sunday by relatives of the deceased from Sherman and a delegation of the IOOF order from Sherman. The funeral was held at the Congregational church, Rev J F Black, of the M E church, officiating. After which the burial services of the order was observed. The interment was at the Centreville cemetery, where his wife was buried. Mr Gilborn spent many years in Centreville and vicinity and leaves two daughters and a son residing at Mageetown - J S Gilborn, Mrs Jerome Magee and Mrs George Magee; two daughters at Sherman, NY, and one son, James, in Clarion county."
