In September of this year, Max was one of two of our cats who were severely injured by passing dogs. As a result, Sniffles was euthanized and Max lost the entire use of his right front leg and was no longer allowed to venture out of the house. Though he struggled greatly, he continued to live comfortably; eating breakfast and his "treats" in the morning; within an hour or so of his passing.
Max was occasionally a 'lap cat' but, of course, on his own terms. His presence will be missed.
