ALEXANDRIA TOWNSHIP - Loretta D. "Dot" Javes, 92, of Alexandria Township, died on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Warren Haven Nursing Home in Oxford, NJ.
Born in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Loretta (Carr) Rupert. After the death of her parents, she was adopted and raised by her maternal grandparents, John and Annie Carr and by her aunt, Norah D. Carr, in West Hazelton, PA.
After attending Seton Hall University in Greensburg, PA, she married Vernon C. Javes of Milford, NJ, on June 20, 1942. While raising her three children, she was also employed by the family business, Javes Bakery, in Milford where she loved to deliver baked goods to all of their local customers. She later worked as a secretary/bookkeeper for Uzonyi Trucking in Frenchtown and Rexam Corporation in Flemington, until her retirement.
She was predeceased by her son, Harold, her brother John Carr, and her long-time companion S.L. "Bud" Wydner.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Runge and husband Robert of Frenchtown; son Vernon, Jr. and wife Lennie of Long Lake, NY; grandson Robert Runge, Jr. and wife Diana of Somerset, NJ; grandson Ralph Runge and wife Colleen of Frenchtown; grandson Kenneth Javes and wife Kate of Jacksonville, NC; grandson Darren Javes and wife Danielle of San Diego, CA; three great grandchildren, Heather Runge, Christopher Runge and Darren Javes II; two great-great grandchildren, Cassidy and Nicholas.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 11 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ. Visitation will also be on Thursday from 10-11 AM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
