Vincenta Bukowski, 96, of Naples passed away November 7, 2009.

Born June 4, 1913 in Poland to Stanislaw and Jadwiga Kucza, Vincenta was a survivor of the Holocaust.

Prior to moving to Naples, she had resided in Chicago for 40 years where she was a member of St. Roman Parish, had served as president of the Rosary Society, vice president of the Third Order of St. Francis, and had served as president of the Polish Women's Alliance of America (Council 26). In Naples, she was a very active member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and CCW and St. Agnes Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Ladies of St. Agnes. A very generous and outgoing woman, Vincenta spoke to many students at our Naples area schools about the Holocaust.

Vincenta is survived by her daughters and sons, Wanda Bukowski, Carol (Jadwiga) Bukowski, Thaddeus (Susan) Bukowski, and George (Roseann) Bukowski; her grandchildren, Antoni, Ami, Adam, and Arica Bukowski; and her great grandchildren, Dylan and Hope June Bukowski.

She was preceded in death by parents; her loving husband, Antoni Bukowski, who died in 1960; her brothers, Stanislaw, Sevarian, Edward, Florian, Marian, and Mieczyslaw Kucza; and her sisters, Jadwiga Ratajczak and Joanna Wieczorek.

Visitation will be on Tues., Nov. 10th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Rd., Naples with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be on Wed., Nov. 11th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 7775 Vanderbilt Beach Rd. Ext., Naples with Rev. Robert Kantor, celebrant. Interment will be in Palm Royale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy for Vincenta's charitable organizations may be made to Carol Bukowski, P. O. Box 990548, Naples, FL 34116.
