Funeral services for Selma Eversole, 101, of Austin, formerly of Needville, Texas, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2009, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg, Texas, with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. The Rev. Fred Banda will officiate the services.

Selma was born May 15, 1908, in Caldwell, Texas, to Fritz and Matilda (Kaegler) Duesterhoft. She was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Needville.

She passed away June 24, 2009, in Austin, Texas.

Selma is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Eversole; her parents, Fritz and Matilda Duesterhoft; brothers, William, Henry, Ernest and Eldie Duesterhoft; and sisters, Elsie Roesler, Lillie Kueck, Frieda Engelhart, Alma Perkins and Mattie Shodek.

She is lovingly survived by her son, Charlie Eversole; daughters, Howard Jean Pace and husband, Jim, and Gwen Coker; grandchildren, Stacy Pace and wife, Karen, Terri Rodriguez and husband, Joel, Mark Eversole, Wesley Eversole and wife, Lisa, Matthew Mason, Kimberly Perry, Kristin Champion and husband, Brandon, and Barton Mason and wife, Kimberly; six great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; along with other family and friends.
