GRAHAM - Mrs. Rose Bryant Yarborough, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, a resident to the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields, and a former resident of Burlington Manor and High Point native, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2007.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, in Guilford Memorial Park in Greensboro. Officiating will be the Rev. Fran Moran and Mr. Bob Phillips.
Rose was born March 4, 1901, in Yadkinville, N.C., the youngest daughter, and 13th child, of the late Thomas N. Bryant and Martha Green Bryant, and spent most of her life in High Point.

Rose moved to Alamance County, from her High Point residence of 61 years, after she celebrated her 100th birthday, to be near her only daughter and family.

She was the oldest member of the First United Methodist Church of High Point, N.C. A former Kindergarten teacher at Jack and Jill School for many years, a Sunday school teacher, Brownie Troop leader and active as President of the Women's Society. Rose had been an active member in bridge clubs, book clubs and garden clubs with longtime friends.
Mrs. Yarbrough was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, of 66 years, Roby Gray Yarborough, of High Point, N.C., who passed away in 1997. She was also preceded in death by brothers, George Bryant, Hobart M. Bryant, Lonney E. Bryant, John Bryant, Hugh Bryant, Dolphos Bryant, William Bryant; and sisters, Carrie B. Spencer, Anna Bryant, Lilly Bryant, Lucy Bryant and Mary Bryant.

Rose is survived by a daughter, Suzanne Y. Moser and husband, K. Rex Moser, of Graham; and two granddaughters, Lisa Kyle Moser of Graham and Leslie Caroline Moser of Graham.
