Ryan - TULOUS L. McADOO, 83, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 1987, in a Ryan nursing home after a long illness.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Willis C. Worley and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika, officiated by the Rev. Tommy Billings of the First Baptist Church. Burial will be at Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche.
McAdoo was born July 9, 1903, near Rush Springs, Indian Territory. He attended Rush Springs schools, then moved to Lawton in 1918, where he completed his education. He was an auto mechanic for more than 40 years, working for Nichols Motor Co. in Duncan for more than 18 years, and also for Morgan-Richardson Motor Co. in Waurika.
He married Gertie Bullard in Sulphur on Oct. 3, 1944, and they made their home in Duncan. In 1973, they moved to Waurika from Meridian.
He was a World War II veteran, a Methodist, and a member of the Rush Springs American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, of the home in Waurika; a daughter, Carol Pilgreen of Waurika; a brother, Archie D. McAdoo of Rush Springs; and three sisters, Clella Mae Wegner of Wichita Falls, Gertrude Sweeney of Rush Springs, and Ruth Helen Ray of Albuquerque, N.M.; and three grandchildren.
