Services for Harold Jennings were held on September 17 at the First Baptist Church in Fox with the Rev. Bill Hobbs officiating and the Rev. Greg Taylor assisting. Burial was in Graham Cemetery.

Jennings died September 16, 1977 in a Healdton hospital. He was born in Fox on September 27, 1915 where he spent his entire life except while serving in the army during World War II. Jennings, who worked as an oil pumper and cattleman, married Willie C. Wilson on December 14, 1952 in Henrietta, Texas.

He is survived by his wife of the home; one son, Joe, Fox; two daughters, Mary Thurman, Edmond, Suzanne Standefer, Clear, Alaska; three sisters, Mrs. Margrie Lackey, Ratliff City, Mrs. Ruby Skaggs, Salem, Illinois, and Mrs. Nila Riggs, Irving, Texas; one brother, Marvin, Ardmore; and four grandchildren. Another daughter Glenda Jane Paul, died in 1966.

Bearers were Tim Johston, Larry Conway, Rex Eaves, Ray James, Jack Barnes, and Lonny Burton.

Arrangements were made by Reser Funeral Home.
