Herbert William Coplea died Sunday morning in a hospital at Pekin as a result of an automobile accident Saturday night.
The body was brought here Tuesday and taken to the Ridge where funeral services were held in the afternoon. Burial in Ridge cemetery.
Mr. Coplea was 26 years of age. He was married to Esther Lomas on February 6, 1923. His wife and three children survive. he also leaves four sisters and three brothers: Mrs. Wm. Bursott, of Noble; Mrs. N. A. Kent, of Olney; Mrs. H. O. Todd, of Pekin; Mrs. Chas Atchison, of Livermore, CA; James Coplea of Fithian; Dave Coplea, of Rossville and Grover Coplea, of Pekin.
