Anita Mae Angradi, 67, of East Stroudsburg, passed away peacefully in her sleep to meet our Lord on Friday, July 13, at her home, surrounded by her loving and devoted family. She was the loving wife of Robert Angradi. They had been married 47 years.
Born in Fern Ridge on March 1, 1940, she was the third child of the late Marshall and Catherine (George) Keiper.
She owned and operated a day care center at her former residence on Phillips Street in Stroudsburg for 10 years. She also drove the school bus for the Stroudsburg School District from 1970 until 1977. She worked at East Stroudsburg University as a supervisor in the student center from 1977 until 1988. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Stroudsburg.
In addition to her loving and devoted husband Robert, she was the devoted mother of four loving children, Marshall Angradi of Bushkill; Robert Angradi and his wife, Janet, of Saylorsburg; Jeffery Angradi and his wife, Jillene, of Milford and Tina Pence and her husband, Gregory, of Pocono Manor; three sisters, Marcia Heller of East Stroudsburg; Melva Bell of Neola and Cherry Galpin of Stroudsburg; two brothers: Richard Keiper of Saylorsburg and Dale Keiper of Stroudsburg. Without a doubt, the happiest days for her were those spent with her seven grandchildren, Elijah, Jacob, Donald-Paul, Ralph, Jack, Brandon and Kaitlyn. She had a special love for them and they were the core of her life. All were blessed to have her as their grandmother.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her love and support of others will never be forgotten.
