David Anthony Henry, 67, Georgetown, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.

Born Sept. 24, 1941, in Altoona, Pa., he was retired from the Army and the Defense Investigative Service, U.S. Government.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Tony Henry.

Survivors include his wife, the former Carolyn Tedder, and three daughters, Pamela Henry and Beth Panwitz, both of Muncie, and Paula Henry of Georgetown.

Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 7, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Jan. 8, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.

Funeral: Thursday, Jan. 8, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown.

Officiant: The Rev. Jerry Rairdon.

The family suggests memorial gifts to the Floyd County Animal Shelter or Silver Street United Methodist Church in New Albany.
