He was a professor for 20 years at Cincinnati Bible Seminary (now Cincinnati Christian University) and also a coach for 8 years of the Golden Eagles Men's Basketball Team;

Funeral Service will be at Fairfield Church of Christ 745 Symmes Rd. on Tuesday at 7 PM; Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 4-7 PM; Graveside Service will be at Cave Hill National Cemetery 701 Baxter Ave., Louisville, KY on Wednesday at 1 PM;
