Donald F. "Tiny" Adsit, 82, of Sharyl Drive died Saturday at Pontiac Nursing Home in Oswego, where he had been a patient since February.
A native of Camillus, he lived in DeWitt before moving to Central Square more than 13 years ago.
Mr. Adsit was a flatbed operator for Santaro Tarason Co., Syracuse, for 35 years, retiring in 1974.
He was a communicant of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Central Square, and a member of Teamsters Local 317, Syracuse.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Dorothy M. Adsit.
Surviving are his wife of 25 years, the former Diane Orlando; two sons, Darryl of West Monroe and Donald Jr. of Central Square; three stepdaughters, Katrina Adsit of Syracuse, Diane Menga of West Monroe and Denise Kosecski of Central Square; a stepson, Anthony Menga of Liverpool; a sister, Bertha Soule of Liverpool; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at Watson Funeral Home and 11 a.m. in St. Michael's Church. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
