Officer Daryl Pierson is survived by a wife and two kids. He was with the Rochester Police Department for 8 years and an Army veteran. He was the first officer killed with the Rochester PD since Patrolman Harold V. Shaw was killed in 1959. Daryl was a member of the Tactical Unit.
