Virginia was my Dad's cousin. She was born to Joseph and Mae (Coutchie) Belanger and had a brother, Gerald. She was married several times and had two daughters.

Obituary:

Virginia Mae Austin of Flushing, MI, died Sunday, September 21, 2003 of cancer while residing at Community Home Health & Hospice in Flint. Cremation has taken place. Virginia was born in Flint on September 12, 1927. She retired from General Motors after 28 years of service. She was a former member of the McLaren Auxiliary and a graduate of the old St. Michael's School in Flint. She was still a member of the St. Mike's Breakfast Club. She is survived by: two daughters, Tracie L. Pratt (Lyle) of Owosso and Kimberlie Henry of Flint; three grandchildren, Bradley, Danielle and Lyle, Jr.; and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves special cousins (like sisters), Marcella Bradshaw of Flint and Dorothy DeShano of Florida, Merlin Palmer of Traverse City, Foster Palmer of Illinois; and many friends. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to Community Home Health & Hospice of Flint, or to the Gideons Bible Society.
