Mrs. Stephanie “Sissy” Mayfield Frey, 32, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, January 30, 2015. She was born April 27, 1982 in Lithia Springs, Georgia, the daughter of Mr. Roger Dale Mayfield and Mrs. Denise Fincher Mayfield. She worked as a Medical Assistant. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt and loved her family dearly. She loved the color purple. “Sissy” enjoyed time spent with her precious daughters and her nephews who she lovingly called her “Bubbas”. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Marietta.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Hoyt Mayfield and uncle, Michael Mayfield.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Keith Frey of Douglasville; two daughters, Malori Frey and Madison Frey both of Douglasville; her parents, Denise Fincher Mayfield and Roger Dale Mayfield of Hiram; sister and brother-in-law, Brandi and Ben McMahan of Powder Springs; grandparents, Elizabeth “Liz” and Doyle Fincher of Douglasville and Betty and Lloyd Rider of Villa Rica; nephews, Brady Michael McMahan of Powder Springs and Brenden Ray McMahan of Powder Springs; aunts and uncles, Timmy and Teresa Mayfield of Villa Rica, Sue Beasley of Villa Rica, Doyle and Pam Fincher of Douglasville, John Cabe of Douglasville; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Faye and Steve Frey of Dallas; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Daniel and Layla Frey of Dallas; several cousins and extended family also survive.
The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor Bobby Cheek and Rev. Tommy Young officiating. Interment will follow at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery in Dallas. The following will serve as pallbearers: Joey Jones, Bubba Jones, Ben McMahan, Daniel Frey, Gary Romines, and Roger Romines.
