Bell Jr. 22, of West Chesterfield, Ohio; assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, Columbus, Ohio; attached to Regimental Combat Team 2, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward); killed Aug. 3 when his amphibious assault vehicle was attacked by an improvised explosive device while he was conducting combat operations south of Haditha, Iraq. Also killed were Marine Lance Cpl. Eric J. Bernholtz, Lance Cpl. Nicholas William B. Bloem, Sgt. Bradley J. Harper, Sgt. Justin F. Hoffman, Cpl. David Kenneth J. Kreuter and Cpl. David S. Loving grandson of William and JoAnne England, Joyce Dolle and the late Gus Bell and step grandson of Don Dolle, Wanda and Jesse Ball. Also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. August 3, 2005 in Barwanah, Iraq in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Age 22. Graduate of Lakota East High School, a Black Belt in Judo and Karate and a member of Impact Church, Bridgetown. Visitation Saturday, August 13, 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. at Lakota East High School, Liberty Township, Butler County. Funeral service at the school Sunday, August 14, 2 P.M. Interment Tuesday, August 16 in Arlington National Cemetery.
