Died From Injuries
John M. Bell Was Assaulted Last September.
John M. Bell died at the St. Francis hospital at 2:15 yesterday afternoon from the effects of an assault made on him last September. During the street fair last fall a man mistook Jack Bell for another person and assaulted him. Mr. Bell was severely injured, and since that time has been ill. He received several contusions, from which he could never recover.
He has been a resident of Wichita for eight years and was nearly 60 years old. He was a plumber and was well known to many persons in this city. The body will be take to Douglass, Butler county, for burial.
