Funeral services for Jayne Ellen Johnson were held Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel in Oakdale, La., Revs. Jerry Odom and Michael McIntoch officiated. Committal services followed in the Resthaven Cemetery.

Jayne Ellen, 27, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, in her residence. She was born in Oakdale on Sept. 18, 1983. She was a 2001 graduate of Bolton High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in human resource and a masters of business administration from Texas A&M. She was employed by British Gas in Houston, Texas. She was very active in Ducks Unlimited, loved fishing and hunting and served on the Houston Rodeo Committee. She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend.

Her grandfather, N.E. Johnson precedes her in death.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents of Pagosa Springs, Colo.; maternal grandparents of Oakdale; paternal grandmother of Oakdale; eight uncles and aunts; a host of cousins and friends.
