KENTWOOD - Wallace Preston "Pee Paw" Jennings Sr., 79, died Sunday, June 3, 2001, at his home.
He was a native of Kentwood, worked as a oiler/chef and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Air Corps in World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Arie Annabelle Varnado Jennings of East Fork; two daughters, Mildred Ann Jennings Graham of Kentwood and Elsie Eileen Jennings Sharkey of East Fork; two sons, John Joseph Jennings Sr. of East Fork and Wallace Preston Jr. of Loranger; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one brother, William Riley Jennings Jr. of West Monroe; and one sister, Francis Onstead of Mandeville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Mildred Jennings.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 10 p.m. at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until the Rev. Jerry Dye and Douglas Graham Sr. conduct the funeral at 11. Burial will be in East Fork Cemetery, East Fork.
