Hazel W Rennecker, 92, of Auburn, died today at 4:05 a.m. in DeKalb Memorial Hospital.
She was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of the area. She was a member of the Norris Chapel United Methodist Church and its Ladies Circle.
She was born July 5, 1897 in DeKalb County to the late Charles and Dora (Thomas) Witt. She married Lester Rennecker On Dec. 24, 1918 in Auburn. He died Sept 29, 1977.
Surviving are two daughters, Iris Ramer of Auburn and Donna Carnahan of Albion; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and three step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Wilbur, Roy, and John Witt, and two sisters, Lazeal Boger and Mary Trenary.
