Sgt Philip Barch was a U.S. Civil War Soldier for the Union.

He enlisted as a Private on 25 September 1863 at the age of 28. He enlisted in Company B, 12th Cavalry Regiment Ohio on 24 Nov 1863.

Philip was promoted to Full Sergeant on 1 Mar 1865. He mustered out of Company B, 12th Cavalry Regiment Ohio on 14 Nov 1865 at Nashville, Tennessee.
