She was born in Oklahoma to Jesse and Viola Atwood Spencer. She married Simpson F. Cain on Sept. 1, 1942 and they had one daughter, Sharon S. Cain.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed oil painting, ceramics and attending flea markets.

She moved to Gravette in 1982 from Joshua Tree, Calif. She was a member of NARFE and AARP. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, one brother, two sisters, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was 85 when she passed away at her home in Gravette, AR. I have a copy of her obit from Morning News.

She was the best "Mother" and "Grandmother" a person could very ask for. She loved to laugh and found humor in daily life around her. We had many fun time together, we went camping, fishing. Grandma and Grandpa would take all of us to places we never been. Like: my first trip to the beach, "ZOO" and the biggest trees I have even seen (Redwood Forest).

Grandma - taught all of us grandkids how to paint, we still have all of her paintings to this day.

I am very proud to have have her as a "Grandma". She was the best!

We love and miss you so very much.
