He was a retired schoolteacher and a member of the VFW, the American Legion and the United Methodist Church in Gentry. He served as the state president of the Vietnam Veterans of America. He married Norma Culhane in 1968. He was 57 when he passed away at his home in Gentry, AR. I have a copy of his obit from Morning News.
