Anna Musgrove Reynolds (b. March 5, 1853 in New York, d. Dec. 24, 1938) is buried in the Mount Hope Cemetery, San Diego). In the 1880 U.S. Census, she (age 27) was living in Ogden, Kansas, with her brother (James) and his wife.

She married Charles Hazelius Sternberg, who would become famous as a fossil collector, on July 7, 1880 at Fort Riley, Kansas. They had five children. The first, Charles Reynolds Sternberg (b. 1881; Lawrence, Kansas), died before his second birthday. Followed by; George Fryer (b. Aug. 26, 1883, d. Oct. 23, 1969; Hays, Kansas); Charles Mottram (b. Sep. 11, 1886, d. Sep. 4, 1981, Ottawa, Canada); Maude (b. Oct. 30, 1890, d. Jan. 15, Lawrence, Kansas); and Levi (b. March 10, 1894, d. Oct. 21, 1976, Toronto, Canada).

Charles H. and Anna Sternberg moved to San Diego around 1919 after he had retired.

After her death, Charles H. Sternberg moved to Canada to live with Charles M. (Ottawa) and then Levi Sternberg (Toronto). He died in the home of Levi Sternberg. The graves of Charles H., Charles M. and Levi Sternberg have now been located.
