Professional Wrestling Announcer. He was the most recognized professional wrestling announcer. Was known as "Dean" of wrestling, "Walter Cronkite of wrestling," and "Howard Cosell of wrestling." He was inducted into the NWA Hall of Fame (Class of 2005), WCW Hall of Fame (Class of 1995), WWE Hall of Fame (2008). He mainly worked in WCW, Georgia Championship wrestling, Florida Championship Wrestling among others in the southern territory.
