The Rev. Harry Ivan Cull, 76, Kahoka, died at 8:20 p.m., Wednesday, September 30, at Graham Hospital. He was born, November 13, 1983, near Wyaconda, the son of John W. & Lydia E. LaFrenz Cull.
The Rev. Cull married Orrell St.Clair on December 2, 1914. She survives. He served as a minister for many years. He retired a few years ago. He was raduated from Baptist Seminary, Ft. Worth, Texas and ordained in Calvary Baptist Church, Hannibal in 1931. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Williamstown.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edna Scott, Parker, South Dakota; two sons, Robert, Ft. Worth; Russell, Hannibal; four brothers, Elzie L., Fresno, CA; John G., Bakersfield, CA; Howard, Sutter, CA; William P., Pittsfield, IL; three sisters, Mrs. Lelah Graves, Modesto, CA; Mrs. Ila Higbee, Canton, MO; Mrs Helen Coppin, Fresno; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 3, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kahoka Baptist Church. The Rev. Robert Humphreys and the Rev. Charles R. Scott officiated. Masonic service was held Friday, October 1, at 8:00 p.m. in the Karle-Shaffer Funeral Home. Burial was in the Kahoka Masoleum.
