Rose Marie was the daughter of James L. "Jimmy" and Mary STATEN Newton. When Rose Marie was six or seven months old she had infantile paralysis. It settled in her spine and she was in a wheel chair all her life. She was a sweet and lovely girl and everyone who knew her loved her. She was also my first cousin.
