Bryan married Annie Belle Scallions Aug 14, 1924 in Charleston, Tallahatchie County, Mississippi. They had twelve children; four sons and eight daughters.
Uncle Bryan was a hard working, kind and gentle man. He was patient with all those children and was a kind loving father. He was also a good husband and a friend to everyone.
I remember in 1943 I was thinking of marrying a soldier stationed in Greenville, Ms where we lived. I wrote Mabel and Hazel the news. Uncle Bryan answered and with his advice I did not marry and have been thankful to him ever since.
I love and miss you, Uncle Bryan. Love and hugs from Bea.
