Mrs. Bessie Mae Beavers Sones Cooper was a wonderful person. Blessed with the kindness known to no other person, she blessed all she met with her grace and wisdom. She was a wonderful mother who cared for her family until the very end. She is now resting peacefully beside her husband, Reverand William Thomas Cooper among the beautiful trees and country that she so loved. No doubt an angel in God's arms.
Daugher of Nancy Elizabeth Kelly Beavers and Wiley Beavers. She married Willis James Sones and lost him on May 23, 1935 before delivering their first child. She married William Thomas Cooper before the baby was born and they raised Willis and Bessie's son, James, along with their two daughers, Willie Mae and Elaine. Two babies were lost, Leroy, in 1941 and Ola Faye in 1938.
