their First Child and Only Daughter
My Great Aunt and Uncle
She was killed by a Trolley Car in Milano Italy
They were playing out side ....
and then they found out later...
the trolley driver was drunk.
It was a Big Court Case in those days.
Aunt Mary and Uncle Bill came to America and they brought their daughter ashes with Them.
I can always remember as a kid, visiting My Aunt and Uncle in Cleveland, and in the corner of their living room, was an Old Fashion Doll Carriage and a Beautiful Doll.
As I write this, I can still see it, as if it was yesterday.
We where told, we couldn't play with it and that was Viola's.
When we got older, we learned who she was, and what happen.
God Speed Little One
She was a gifted pianist and
did concerts in Vienna
taught by a famous German instructor.
All this was written
down by her Brother Walter
in the top picture.
Thanks to a New Cousin who found me here,
she has some beautiful pictures of Viola from her Grandfather. Walter
