Solomon Cates
Died-
Solomon Cates, an old resident of Jackson County was accidentally shot and killed at his home at Bonnie, by a boy named Willie Long with whom he was turkey hunting.
The gun, held by the boy, was accidentally discharged, the contents striking Mr. Cates in his face, inflicting a fearful wound from which he died the next day.
