Turkish actor.

One of the veteran actors of Turkish cinema, Orhan Günşiray, died of lung cancer in a hospital in İstanbul. Born in 1929 in İstanbul, he graduated from the Tophane Art School. After being selected as the most handsome man of İstanbul's Princes' Islands in a contest, he caught the attention of movie producers.

The Yerli Film company, which Günşiray established with director Atıf Yılmaz, produced the movies "Dolandırıcılar Şahı" and "Sırat Köprüsü". Günşiray acted in many films up until 2006. In an interview, Günşiray confessed to a journalist that he had worked for the National Intelligence Organization (MİT).

He was married 8 times, he is the father of actor Mahir Günşiray.
