Stuntman. He was known as a Hollywood stuntman, who was known as a fine athlete and to be almost fearless. Born Dar Allen Robinson, he was a masterful stunt technician and always was meticulous in planning and preparation for each so-called gag he performed or choreographed. His first notable stunt work in film was doubling for Steve McQueen in 1973's "Papillon" making a 100 foot jump from cliff into the sea. Robinson was always in search of ways to improve his craft, however, and originated the use of drag-line cables instead of airbags for high jumps allowing for a top-down view of the stuntman as he fell. Doubling Christopher Plummer in 'Highpoint', Robinson did a 700 foot free fall from the CN Tower in Toronto, he deployed a concealed parachute just 300 feet from the ground, safely landed on his feet and received $100,000. It was the biggest pay out for any single stunt ever performed. In 1979, he set a world record for a free fall from a helicopter, dropping an unheard of 311 feet into an airbag. During almost 20 years as a stuntman, his careful execution of well-planned stunts kept him from serious injury. Ironically, he died in a motorcycle accident during the filming of "Million Dollar Mystery"; near Page, Arizona. His reputation for careful stunt planning remained unsullied, however, since the freak accident was not related to any stunt he was performing. After his death, a documentary on his career was made in 1988: "The Ultimate Stuntman - A Tribute to Dar Robinson."

My faithful loving husband and best friend
Compassionate father, loyal son and brother

"The world's most spectacular stuntman"

A true legend in our time...
Like him there will be no other.

Psalm 40:3-
And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.

I love you from the very depths of my whole-heart not only in this life, but into the next... where we will spend our eternity together and share our love forever and ever.
