A.P. James, son of Ancy Price James, Sr. and Sarah Catherine WESTBROOK James, was a shy, quiet and nice man. He married Martha Janie Newton in Charleston, Ms. Dec 9, 1922, and they had two daughters...Bea and Doll. They were divorced and in 1937 he married Pauline Babbs in Mark Tree, Ark. They had been living in East Saint Louis, Ill. a few years when he died.
