William Russell Howell was the son of Samual and Mary HUTSON Howell. He married Mary "Polly" Holbrook in 1805. They had seven children; all born in Tenn. They moved near Big Creek, Yalobusha County (later became Calhoun County) Miss in late 1830s.
After his wife Polly died he went to Georgia to visit family and died there. I'm not sure if it were Elbert County. His Grandfather Hudson is buried in Elbert Co, Ga.
