A victim of the serial killer Richard Ramirez, AKA, the Night Stalker. She was shot in her Rosemead condo at 8510 Village Lane, after Ramirez rushed in through the garage and shot but did not kill her roommate. Dayle's mother said, "You think it won't happen to you. And when it happens to you, what can you say? It will never go away. The pain". Dayle's murderer died of natural causes on California Death Row in June, 2013.
