Musician. She was a founding member, lead guitarist and singer of the British all-female rock band Girlschool. They became a potent force in the Heavy Metal movement with their debut album, "Demolition" (1980). As a songwriter she contributed to the albums "Hit 'n' Run" (1981), "Screaming Blue Murder" (1982), and "Play Dirty" (1984), before leaving the group. In 1993 she rejoined the band and toured Europe, Japan and the USA until 2000. She quit the music business after recording her final Girlschool album, "Not That Innocent: 21st Anniversary" (2001).
